Made it here! Time for today’s “photo a day challenge” or if you prefer, “Jilly’s photo thingy” or even “photo whatsit” It seems to have a variety of names. I think I might change it to “Jilly’s daily photo thingamybob”!
Today’s challenge is: 6. Anything at all that you still have growing in your garden.... even if it’s a weed.
Perhaps I should have worded that differently.........anything that is still alive in your garden as I don’t think any of us really have anything much that is growing at this time of year. Go on, all prove that statement wrong now!
My photo is of a few of my pots which are in the relatively secluded, bottom corner of my garden. You can see the nasturtiums on the left. In front of them is a small hydrangea that was new this summer and has actually just decided that it would like to put out some tiny flower heads. Behind that to the right, there is a fuchsia which as you can see has also decided that now would be a good time to flower again! Amazing. Sadly they will not last long.
Tomorrows challenge is: 7. The sky today.

It seems that my photo thingamy has generated quite a lot of interest this month. Odd in a way as last month there was just Pam and myself. Some of you are having trouble locating everyone’s posts and I have had requests to turn this into a Multiply group. At the present time I am thinking! I am thinking that it is very unlikely as it involves work and as you know I don’t work! LOL!
I know Linda has been asking people to leave their links which is a simple way of connecting. A few of you don’t know how to do that. Post your blog and at the bottom there is the word “Share”. Click on that and it will give you the link which you simply copy and paste.
I haven’t had any problems as my in box is set to see friends of friends of friends of friends etc! I delete what I don’t want and click anything that catches my eye so that may be another way of doing it.
I have also already put a list in my blog of those that I know are taking part. It is here again and I think I will post it in my notes as an easy reference point. I think there are 12 of us. If I have missed anyone send me a message and I’ll add you in.
I will carry on thinking about it but really I just want it to remain a fun thing that we can dip in and out of when we want. It is early days too. If I set up a group it would probably end up with just me in it in a few weeks! LOL!
