Monday evening. (copy)

I was just emailed this picture and I had to include it here as it is so cute.

As you all know, I have been really busy today and have worked my back side off. My kitchen is immaculate and my windows gleaming. My patio doors look almost new. Did anyone notice ? NO. I don't know why I bother. I think I may just do nothing at all tomorrow. I wish that I had the guts to just do absolutely nothing for weeks and then when it is a total pig sty, I may actually get some credit for how much I do around this place.

Only thing with that is, that it would drive me insane before them! What didn't go unnoticed though, was that dinner was a little late. Silly me, didn't shut the oven door properly, so when I thought it should be nearly done, it wasn't hardly started. I had planned to go in the bath as I was grubby from all my exertions, but that had to wait while I did dinner. Maybe I should have just gone in the bath anyway!

I am pleased to report that I have been able to enjoy a nice long bath this evening anyway as everyone else is out. I also manged to watch Eastenders without any interruptions this evening which is pretty miraculous. It's only a half hour programme, but can I ever watch it without interruptions? You bet I can't.

Well that's my lot on here for today, I have a new book to get started on. Coralie lent it to me, it's called the memory keepers daughter by Kim Edwards. Coralie says that it is very good. So time to get started.
