Monday

It’s a half hour day today!  I don’t actually have too much housework but I need to make sure that I am on top of the normal stuff.  I am hoping to go on a little trip on Wednesday, so in case I do I want things to be up to date here. With Simon at work nothing will get done if I am away.  Think of my poor carpet and all that dog hair!

I really want to get on and make myself a lap top bag today.  I have been meaning to do it for ages and I have the cutest fabric covered in dogs!  The weather is quite good today too so I want to go in the garden and do a bit more tidying up.  I don’t think we are supposed to have rain and at the moment it is fairly warm.  I have a long sleeved top on and I think I am over dressed!  In other words I am hot right now!

I have already got another batch of the rich tomato sauce on the go.  We have so many tomatoes and we are not eating them quick enough. The sauce is brilliant and freezes really well.  When I went to the cupboard this morning to get out my large wok to make the sauce, I had to move a saucepan.............................

There was the biggest, most evil looking spider ever in that saucepan!  A relation of Mickey’s spider, Esau, I think!  No I didn’t take his photo Mickey!  I was however really brave and carried the saucepan at arm’s length to the bottom of the garden and banged it down so he could run off.  Since I was kind enough to release him into the wild and not kill him I am hoping that he will think twice before coming into my house again.  Next time it will be the death sentence.
