Bells and Whistles and Gadgets OH MY !
1. How many television sets do you own? (and how many are HD/flat screen/plasma etc?) Anyone have a home theatre system? game systems? DVD players? other peripherals? In our house we have 6 TVs, the main one in the living room is HD / flat screen. It's quite funny that we have so many as none of us are big television viewers. There is one in each bedroom and one in the kitchen but they're all mainly portable ones. The one in our bedroom has a built in video player. We have another video and DVD player in the living room and Joshua also has one of each. Saskia has a portable DVD player. Most of them are quite old except the TV in the living room which we had before Christmas. Josh has a games system.
2. Do you own a cell phone? How old is it? Do you get new phones regularly? We all have a mobile (UK name for cell phones) The kids often up date theirs but mine and Simon's are as old as the hills. Simon's first one lasted over 10 years and had puppy teeth marks in it where Rosie chewed it!
3. What are the top 5 gadgets that are your 'must haves'? My computer, does that count as a gadget? Microwave? Not sure if that's a gadget either!
4. Are you one to jump on the newest trends? watch them for a bit then jump? or wait until it's more proven technology (and the price lowers)? I am a wait until it's proven and the price comes down kind of person.
5. For your Internet: do you have dial up? dsl? cable? are you wireless?We are wireless broadband and it is so much better than the olden days of dial up. Everyone used to complain that they couldn't get us on the phone because we were always on the Internet. Plus there were always arguments as to whose turn it was next and how long they had been on for. Thank goodness we can all use it at the same time now. We often have 5 people all on the Internet in the evening!!
----BONUS: Feel free to discuss and expound: At what price technology? (and bonus points to anyone who can tell me who said that because I haven't googled it). Hmmmm........... Thinking.........
