The wedding reception was held at Willingham hall and began with drinks. They had 4 of Curtis’ friends acting as waiters and they were waiting to greet us with a choice of Pimms or a cocktail. The cocktail was gorgeous. It was made from pear vodka, lemonade, apple juice and elderflower cordial. Yummy!
Verity and Steve arrived after their drive around the village. By that time the sun was out again so everyone walked around outside talking and catching up.

The caterers doing the BBQ had arrived and had begun to cook.
Then the ice cream man arrived! He was an old fashioned man with a bike! He was there from 3pm until 7pm and we were able to just go and get ice creams whenever! The little ones loved it! It was a nice touch as it kept everyone from getting hungry before the meal was served.
