YOU HAVE TO AMUSE YOURSELF, WHEN YOUR MUM LIVES ON THE INTERNET!
Well it's all go here as normal. Monday was spent catching up on jobs, Tuesday afternoon, I had Ellie here while Lisa had an appointment. We had great fun playing with toys and crawling round the floor. She is just SO cute! She stands up unaided now so I really think she will be walking soon. She pulled out a lot of videos from the shelves in the living room and the best game was making them into a pile, standing a little plastic animal on top and then flicking it off to make him fall. Ellie thought that was absolutely hilarious! She just laughed and laughed. We did that numerous times. I am having her again on Monday afternoon and I am really looking forward to it. She was so good for me.
Yesterday I went with Coralie to Nottingham to exchange her wedding dress. I am sure you will recall that we brought it back in October, what turned out to be only a couple of weeks before she found out about baby. John and Coralie had decided to get married a while back, when it looked like a baby wasn't going to be happening. Of course the baby coming is like a miracle, but it is only a matter of weeks after the wedding!
The wedding dress that Coralie had chosen was beautiful but there is no way on earth that she would be able to fit a baby bump underneath it. So .... back to Nottingham to see what we could sort out. She has chosen a lose, flowing style which looks lovely and we hope, since we have got it in a size to0 large, that it will accommodate baby! Goodness knows what we will do if it doesn't. I suggested jeans and a baggy T shirt, but that idea wasn't well received!
We had a nice day. We went up on the train in the end as it was looking a little foggy and I can't bare driving in fog. (or being driven in fog). After we got the wedding dress sorted we had a quick whizz round the shops and I got myself 2 new pairs of shoes (ballet flats) one red and one black. That's one pair of red and one pair of black not a mixed pair!! I also got some Ugg boots as my feet were freezing and I needed to warm them up!
This morning, I have been in school for a meeting. It ended up being quite long as we had lots to get sorted. The exams office is in chaos at the moment. Simon drove me home at lunch time so that he would have the car. This afternoon, I have been typing up some notes ready for his interview tomorrow and then catching up on jobs.
Tomorrow, I will be catching up on house work all day as I am a bit behind again this week. Simon has his interview tomorrow and he really would like this job, so wish him luck, please. At the weekend I am going to go up to Stevenage to see my Dad and visit my Mum. As usual I feel a bit bad as I haven't managed to get up during the week.
Next week I am hoping to have a quiet week. If I get lots of my jobs done then I can relax in the afternoons and hopefully get on with my embroidery. I may have to go into school a couple of times though to get organised for the science modules which take place the following week.
