Tuesday Thirteen

Having completed working my way through the letters of the alphabet for Tuesday Thirteen, I was a bit stumped for what to do today.  To get myself some inspiration I looked at some of the blogs on the Thursday Thirteen website.  Oh yes, there is such a thing!  See it here:http://thursdaythirteen.com/  Having read a few, I settled on the following: Thirteen Things I love about MY HUSBAND!
Simon with Ellie a few months back.
1. I think he's sexy!  That's as much as I'm saying!!
2. He gives me the time and space to do my "own things"
3. He never moans if he comes home and I haven't done anything all day!!  Not that it ever happens!!
4. He is a wonderful support for me during this difficult time with my Mum.  He comes and visits her too even though he doesn't have to.
5. He listens to me "rabbiting on for ages about all sorts of things and mostly doesn't interrupt!  Although sometimes I have to remind him that he is supposed to be listening!
6. He respects my views and opinions.
7. He reads my blogs!!
8. He lets me be naughty!
9. He smells nice, sort of manly.  I like his smell even better when he remembers to wear after shave!  My favourite is Emporio Armani He.
10. He is very good at repairing cars.
11. He never ever forgets my birthday or our anniversary, not once in all these years.  He probably can't tell you how long we've been married though!
12. He puts up with my moans and groans.
13. He tells me I look good even when I know I don't!!  He says it doesn't matter what size I am and he likes me the size I am anyway!
So there are my 13 things, that is my husband Simon.......he is not the most perfect person. He does have his faults (lots!!) and his bad side......but the fact of the matter is that even I am not perfect!!  You thought I was didn't you!  Well I'm not, I have my bad side too. Despite that he loves me without any conditions.
Sometimes I think he would have been better off with a different wife as we have totally different interests and perspectives on things, but we have managed over 28 years so I suppose something works for us.
Simon, if you're reading this ...I love you!
