Thank you all for your kind messages yesterday.  I am feeling a lot more positive today.  I have been extremely busy as I have had my little granddaughter Ellie here all day.  My house is a wreck but we have had the loveliest day.  She is such a treasure.

She is 17 months old and into everything.  She talks away non stop and repeats everything you say.  Todays new favourite words were hiccoughs and "where are you", spoken as sort of one word..... wereRoo!

We have spent all day playing and she has had me rolling around laughing at her antics.  Climbing into the doll's cradle and trying to lay herself down was hysterical.  Tomorrow I am looking after my little grandson Evan for a few hours in the afternoon while Coralie goes to the dentist  No doubt he will be just as good for his Nanny.  I can't believe that he is already 4 months old.

So I shall have the morning to try and get a few jobs done and restore some order around here.  Simon and I are supposed to be going away on Sunday.  He booked a few days for us up in Yorkshire.  I am not sure at the moment what we will do though as my Uncles funeral is on Monday.  We need to give it some thought.
