I have been away since Friday staying in Southampton with Verity. I had a nice couple of days with her and the travel on the coach was fairly relaxing. We didn't do much, just mooched around really. She has a lot of school work to get done at weekends. I think it is quite hard when you first start out in teaching. We did go out for a meal on Saturday evening and to the cinema which was nice.
When I got in yesterday I was quite tired so I didn't really do much except watch Eastenders. I did read through lots of blogs but didn't really feel up to comments. There were just so many of them to read.
Today, I had been planning to catch up on all my missed housework but I have actually done very little. I can't seem to get any enthusiasm. I am about half way through cleaning the kitchen and that's as far as I've got. I'm on about my millionth cup of coffee! My thoughts keep wandering back to my Aunt and my cousins.
Coralie is coming over this afternoon so I hope that baby Evan will cheer me up. He has just cut his first tooth this weekend!
I just received another very upsetting phone call whilst typing this. I think I'll just give up for today. May be back later, when I can gather my wits.
