Ok, so it’s only the third of the month and I am already behind with the daily photo thingamybob! I have excuses, 2 of them. Yesterday was a busy day and we were out for most of it visiting my Mum in Stevenage. Plus I was really tired when I woke up and I lay the blame for that firmly on Paddygrammy aka Sue!
I was feckin tired Sue! I’m not swearing, apparently feckin is an acceptable word in Ireland nowadays. I don’t know if you have to be Irish to use it though! It sounds like swearing when I say it so I don’t think I’ll use it again, so I won’t. Anyway I was tired so I was! Now look what’s happened I’m even talking Orish!
I had better explain. Sue is a friend of Mickey and Patty and probably nearly everyone else. I have got to know her over the last few months because she does the daily photo whatsit. She also writes an absolutely excellent blog. It is always interesting whether it is about the comings and goings in her little village, the history of Ireland or whatever. Sue is very knowledgeable and has a wonderful way of writing that just makes you want to read.
So as I often do when getting to know someone I went to the very beginning of her blog. If I remember correctly she has 48 pages each of which will have about 10 blogs. I started at the beginning and worked my way over the course of several hours to page 39. It was just like reading a book. I knew it was getting very late but I had to keep reading “just 1 more”! So thanks Sue for an enjoyable nights reading but can you explain to Simon why I was even grumpier than usual when I woke up!
Where was I? Oh yes, yesterdays DPT which I missed was: 2. What you see as soon as you wake up in the morning. (Suggested by Nancy)
An easy one! I see Simon with my coffee and my breakfast! He would be in big trouble of I didn’t! Someone, can’t remember who, asked again yesterday how do I get him to bring me breakfast in bed? 31 years training!
Today’s theme is: 3. Something yellow.
It seems that I don’t have much in the way of yellow in my house so I have chosen to show you a photo of a steam engine! It was taken in August when we took Evan to a steam rally with us. He was fascinated by them.
Tomorrow’s theme is: 4. Water. (Suggested by Jenny) Not too sure what I shall do for that.
Hey look I found something else yellow..... a Tag!
