16 - A picture of someone you’d like to (or would have liked to) meet
This is today’s “Photo a Day” challenge.
Well it is an easy peasey one....... Robbie Williams of course! An intimate little dinner is what I have in mind. It’s not very likely though is it? LOL.
Since we all agree that isn’t likely; I am going to post another photo. This time of someone who I really do hope I will meet one day. It is my Dad’s cousin Sam and his wife Dawn. They live in Florida.
There is a long story about how Dawn found us which I have told before. Sam is the son of My Dads Uncle who emigrated to Canada during the war. The story as far as my Dad knew from his Dad was that he had emigrated to Canada to be a lumber jack and then got himself killed during WW2. Therefore when I was tracing our family history I had not looked for him at all. Fortunately I had posted on a genealogy website and luckily Dawn found me and got in touch. It turned out that none of what we had been led to believe was true.
Sadly my Dad’s Uncle had died but his cousin Sam was alive and kicking. There is a lot more to the story but I am out of time tonight. Anyway this is Dawn and Sam. (I filched the photo from her facebook, hope you don’t mind Dawn!)
