Today’s DPT is: 25. Something you have made. Well you have all seen countless things that I have made and of course I am doing my Monday blogs now to show you what I am doing so I had to think what I could do for today. I did think of showing you a photo of those 5, very special things, that I made many years ago but you have seen those as well.
Then it came to me.... the willow dome. We are building a living willow dome at the allotment for the little ones to play in. It isn’t finished yet; the willow has to be woven in the opposite direction on the diagonal.
I admit that Simon did most of the work but I did do a lot of the weaving in and out. Once it begins to grow we will weave in the small twigs and branches so that eventually it will be like a green igloo! That is the theory anyway! I just hope it actually takes this year. We did try last year but we did it at totally the wrong time so it all died. We never got even as far as weaving.
The photos aren’t the best as they were taken on the Bloggie video camera. In poor light. I’ll put some up in an album soon.
