Hey looky here, I'm getting ahead. Apart from Patty I must be the earliest person to do today's photo theme! Oh yes. The time is 00.24am so it is now Tuesday. Today's photo theme is: 8. Something smooth. (Suggested by Vicki and Jenny).
Well I had a look around the house this afternoon to see what I could find and I found pebbles. Yes, I have pebbles in the house. Quite a few when I think about it. All picked up on my travels. The first photo shows 2 pebbles which sit on the shelves half way up my stairs. Remember the shelves? I have shown them on here. I like the pebble on the left because it is almost heart shaped.
This second photo shows a fairly nondescript smooth pebble. Not much to like really.
Wait turn it over.........It's a fossil!
How cool is that. I don't recall where I found it though. I have a really brilliant fossil that I wanted to show you and it is usually on the other shelves on the other stairs. Today it is not there. My guess is that Miss Ellie has “hidden” it somewhere. Must check out that wooden box! Remember I said how she likes to put things in there. If I find it I'll show it to you tomorrow. Whoops, I mean today! After I have been to sleep and woken up!
I am aiming to do a half hour day tomorrow as I have loads to get done here. Saskia was home last week for less than 48 hours and the whole house seems to be in chaos! How does that happen? Anyway, hopefully there will be plenty of “me” time. I am beginning to get the hang of this Open Office so blogging from my lap top isn't so bad. Plus I have all my photos on here now which I didn't before.
That reminds me, another job for tomorrow is to mess around with graphics cards. I was in Joshua’s room earlier and my eye fell on his old PC. He hasn't used it in over 3 years it just sits there so it occurred to me that I could take the graphics card from there and put it into my PC and see if it works. It would save buying one on the off chance. I gave him a ring to check that he was OK with this and he said yes. Anyone know how to fit a graphics card? I don't even know which bit it is. Guess I shall have to Google it.
OK, that’s me done for now. I'm going to read for a while and hope I get sleepy. I am so very tired. Oh nearly forgot, tomorrows photo theme is:9. Something rough. (Suggested by Jenny)
