I am so excited, that big ball of fire is back up there again. Oh yes it is. That’s 2 days running. It's amazing how much better it makes everything seem. I opened the curtains and there it was. It's now just gone 9am and I have been laying on my bed like a basking seal with the sunshine just pouring in. Time to move now though and get washed and dressed. Lots to do today. I will come back to this as and when on my “me” half hours.
It's 10am now and I am dressed. I have cleaned the bathroom. I always work from the top of my house down. I have 3 levels. Makes sense to me. I just got a phone call from Coralie. John is away so she has her car and she is going to Hobby Craft. My favourite place and I have a whole list of things I need to get. Shall I go? I am supposed to be getting on with housework. Plus I want to do some bits in the garden and I want to mess around with that graphics card. My half hour day won't work if I go out.
I shall go. I won't get another chance before the weekend. I'll have to change clothes now though as I am in scruffy housework gear. I need to find my list too. I want to get a crochet hook and some yarn. My friend Dixie has been posting videos teaching us how to crochet and I am just itching to get started. Best get on with a few jobs before Coralie gets here. She is putting Flynn down for a nap first so I have a while. That’s if he sleeps, he didn't for me yesterday.
I'm back! It's nearly 2pm now and my half hour plan is up the creek. We went to Hobby Craft and although I couldn't find my list I think I got the important bits. Buttons for sock monkey eyes, black embroidery thread, some ribbon, some elastic for a skirt, some red wool and a 5mm crochet hook. I know there were other things on my list. Bet I’ll find it this afternoon! I took a few photos while we were out.
Hobby Craft is the store in the middle. Look at that blue sky! It is still only 48 degrees though so not very warm. Coat weather still.

Since I got back I have done all the ironing and got the last load of washing on. I need to get something from the freezer for dinner soon as it has to be prompt tonight because its Simon s barn night. At least that means I will get some time to do stuff this evening.
Right now I’m just having a cup of coffee and nursing a badly burnt finger. The ribbon I got at Hobby Craft was to finish off a container for 2 of my cacti. It kept slipping when I tied it round so I thought I would glue it with the hot glue gun. You can guess the rest! A big blob of glue on the middle of my finger.....ouch. I didn't get it under the tap fast enough so it has really burnt nastily. I think the pot looks OK though.
I will show it to you later as part of my Monday make do and mend blog. Yeah, I know it isn't Monday! OK, I’m going to finish this up for now and get on with some more chores. With luck I’ll be back later. Oh and that big ball in the sky......................it's still there! I actually have windows open although I will have to shut them soon as it is chilly.
