It's been a busy couple of days since the weekend. I have mostly been doing house work although yesterday afternoon Coralie and I went to the new Kiddicare store in Peterborough. They have been here in Peterborough for years but they have just moved to new larger premises and we wanted to see if they had any special opening offers. They are the largest store in the Uk with the largest amount of stock.
Unfortunately they didn't have much in the way of offers. I was looking for a travel cot to keep at our house for Ellie and "Bob". We did see a very nice one but it was £60 which was more than I wanted to pay really and it was bright red which doesn't really fit too well in the room where it will live. We did see it later on in blue which was better and I will probably order it online later today. It was quite good as it has the facility to raise the mattress up for young babies.
I am going to check out the web site: www.myvouchercodes.co.uk as they often have discount codes for Kiddicare. If you are in the uk and don't this site then have a look before you buy anything online as they have codes which you can use for free postage and money off. They cover loads of places.
Today I have been doing more of the same.......housework interspersed with some blogging and also entering a few competitions. I am just having a cup of coffee before starting the hoovering. I need to get all my chores up to date as I am looking after Ellie all day tomorrow and Thursday afternoon as well. Her Mummy, Lisa is working tomorrow and then on Thursday afternoon she is doing a trial run of Coralies hair for the wedding. Only 18 days away now!
I have been making a few changes to my Multiply site and I am getting more used to how it all works. I have changed most of my friends relationship status to that of "online buddy" as that seems to mean that I don't get all the updates from their friends! I haven't demoted you...honest!!
I have got to grips with using my in-box to reply and comment on all my friends posts. I have deleted those people who are on Yahoo but also over here, as this is where I will now be. I shall still continue to copy and paste to Yahoo though for the time being. You never know they may get their act together one day.
I have notified all my friends via email, so they can still keep up with me. Some of them don't blog themselves but like to know what I'm up to and to look at the photos. I posted some recent ones yesterday in my April album. There are some cute ones of Ellie.
One thing that I can't get to grips with is the facility to post a comment directly from a received email. You know when you receive an email that shows the latest blog entry of a friend, there is a comment box at the bottom. I have tried typing my comment and pressing send, but then when I have looked at that friends blog the comment isn't there.
I had to type them all in again. Maybe it takes ages or something and some of you will tell me that I have posted the same comment twice! Either that or it just isn't working. The people who I tried to do it with are Connie, Annette, Tammy and Eileen, so if any of you seem to have the same comment from me twice can you let me know? Thanks.
Right I have finished my coffee so I suppose I had better move myself and get that hoovering done. I am going to walk up to the shops this afternoon as I have library books due back and I need some potatoes too. I forgot to mention that it is the most beautiful day here in Peterborough and the birds are all singing away. Loulou has spent the morning lying out on the deck sunning herself! Right on with the hoovering!
