Busy, busy, busy as usual! Only 6 days to go now! Well Wednesday night wasn’t good as I spent most of the night feeling like I was going to be sick, but luckily I wasn’t. I seem to be ok now so it looks like I have escaped the bugs...hopefully!
Yesterday I had my little Ellie here all day. She was so good although Nanny was very tired. Josh arrived home from Uni for the holidays about 10.30am and she was delighted to see her Uncle. He was a great help in keeping her amused. Coralie also popped over at lunch time to see her little brother so Ellie had lots of company.
Josh and Coralie took both babies for a walk to the shops in the afternoon so I was able to have a break. Ellie slept for several hours when they got back so we had some Evan playtime. I got to do bath time for Ellie at our house before Mummy came to collect her and that was great fun although somewhat wet for Nanny! When Simon came in she was running around in her nappy with me chasing her with a T shirt!
Today I have been very busy tidying up and putting stuff away. It’s amazing how much mess one small child can make in every room of the house! I have Verity arriving home for the holidays tonight too so I need to make sure everything is ship shape in her room.
Tomorrow I have to make a couple of desserts to take up to the Christmas meal at my sisters on Sunday. I imagine that Verity will want to help with that as she is a very good cook and really enjoys it.
I have uploaded a new video of Evan “enjoying” his new hop and bop toy at Nanny’s house yesterday and also some new photos in my December album. Those children are just so cute even if I do say so myself.
Right that’s it for now as my coffee is finished and I need to get on with some sewing.
