I have missed doing this for a few weeks but whilst going through lots and lots of old photos last week, I came across this one of an albino peacock. It was taken in 1980 at Cricket St Thomas wildlife park in Somerset.
Some of my English friends may remember an old sitcom called "To the manor born" that was filmed at Cricket St Thomas. Not in the wild life park of course but in the actual manor house and gate lodge.
This one is the original
This is my mono entry although it isn't totally mono! I sharpened it up in photo shop then altered the contrast to reduce the back ground. I then took it into Picnik and messed with it a little and added the dark blue.
This is my plus entry. I started out with the sharpened up photo with the contrast altered to reduce the back ground and then in Picnik I flipped it to face the other way, just because I could! Then I used the neon effect followed by focal zoom and then added a frame.
I really like him, I think he looks a bit prehistoric. No I haven't been at the wine! I know I'm not that great at this and my daughter Coralie told me the other day that she thinks some of my "creations" are a bit odd, but I don't care because I am enjoying myself. It's great fun messing around with photos to see what you can create. Until next week........
