My prize

Do you remember last week that I mentioned that I had won a Bic "back to school "kit?  I promised to show you some photos, well here they are.

   

It was a simple internet competition where you just enter your name and address.  I enter lots of competitions online and have won lots.  I enter so many that once I press the send button, I forget all about them.  This means I never know what I might win at any time.

When I got the email from Bic, I couldn't remember the competition.  I assumed that a "back to school" kit would be pens, pencils, a pencil case, that kind of thing, after all that is what Bic make. 

When the prize arrived a couple of weeks later it did include pens and pencils...lots, but it also included a Samsung 10.2 mega pixel camera and a Samsung digital photo frame.  A very nice prize indeed and a lovely surprise.  There was also scissors, paper, crayons, felt tips, fountain pens, post it notes, tippex products and lots more.

There are some lovely chunky crayons that will be great for Ellie who has just begun to scribble.  I have given the camera to Simon as he needed a new one.  His was fairly old but he had pressed some buttons and it is now in Japanese, at least we think it's Japanese!  Consequently he can't access the menus so can't really use it!!  He had better not do that with this new one!  The photo frame I shall keep for our living room, but I haven't yet set it up.
