Photo whatsit 13 - a day late!

Yep, I am a day late  That's not bad for me.  So far this month I have managed to get each one on the correct day.  My excuse for this one is that I have had a really rotten headache and yesterday I did nothing at all on my computer.

Yesterdays challenge number 13 was an old holiday photo.  I am going to treat you all to 3!  The first one is from 1953!  No it is not of me!  I wasn't even a twinkle in their eyes back then!  It shows my Mum and Dad and was taken in Margate Kent.  

This second one is of me.  Taken on Weymouth beach in the summer of 1976 just after I had taken my "O" levels and left school.  I was 16.  It was my first holiday without my parents. My cousin Wendy and I were on holiday together.  We were not totally unsupervised as we were staying in a guest house run by our aunt and uncle.  I have a photo of me and Wendy both in bikinis and she appears to be chatting up a scruffy, long haired youth!  I was going to post that but thought Wendy may not appreciate it!  I have to say she looks better than me though.  Wendy was a slender young lady like my Saskia.

This last photo is of my son Samuel on his first holiday. It was the Isle of Wight 1981 and this was his first time in the sea.  You can just see our dog Buick too. Buick loved the sea.
