Rain, rain go away (copy)

Rain, rain go away, come again another day. Do you remember that rhyme from your childhood? It has done nothing but rain here all day and the last hour or so has been a torrential down pour. I took a couple of photos from my bedroom window. Then, I braved the rain and went outside to try and get some photos of the actual rain. The top photo is the view out over the park.

Web Marty has a fantastic photo taken outside in his garden, of the rain hitting the paving slabs. I wanted to try and do that too. Unfortunately, despite having a very good camera, I could only get a rubbish shot. So come on someone out there, tell me how do you capture rain?

A view of the garden from my bedroom window. You can see that the work although still in progress, is much further on than before. We still have to finish laying the patio and then sort out the lawn.

I think there may be some pretty deep puddles right across the country today. What has happened to this "hottest" ever summer that they promised us??
