I came on here this morning all ready to do my normal blog. The first thing I saw was a message from a friend Roselynn, sister to Dixie, my very good friend. This was the message:
"Dixie's Husband Just Passed Away Please Pray For Her. I am on the way through ice and snow as are other family members. Please pray for our safety. Please keep Dixie and her two sons, daughter-in-law and granddaughter in your prayers."
I have no idea what has happened. I was just last night reading about the terrible ice storms and the lack of power and how Dixie was busy trying to help various members of her family.
The news has turned me cold. I am actually sitting here shaking. None of us ever know what is waiting around the corner. If you know Dixie or Roselynn then please keep them in your thoughts.
I will not be back here today as a mark of respect to Dixie and her family.
