Verity’s hen party back in July 2010 was a great evening despite the fact that it wasn’t as originally planned. We were originally going to hold the evening in a local restaurant but then several of Verity’s friends had to drop out for various reasons and so our number was too small.
Coralie stepped in and offered to do it at her house. She was hosting the murder mystery anyway. As we were a small number we decided to have take away Chinese delivered to make things easy. We had lots of chocolate goodies too and everyone got a goodie bag with choccie treats.
I had never taken part in a murder mystery before but it was really good fun. I think it would possible be better if there were a few more people than we had. Coralie had purchased the idea from the internet. A story called Death by Chocolate!
It is basically a story of a young woman who is about to be married and it is her hen party! I had the role of the mother of the bride! Verity was the bride etc...... Saskia was the one who got murdered by Charlotte and I was then murdered by my sister. I hope you like the slide show of photos.
