Another week gone and only an hour and a half until the start of the weekend. I have had another few busy days. Not busy like all of you who work outside the home, but busy for me. On Thursday Coralie came over with Evan and we walked up to the shops. Evan is doing really well and now weighs 15lb 6oz! He is really "talking" now and a happy little chap.
Coralie has just got him one of those door bouncer things and she bought it round to our house so we could see him in it. He loves it! It's really funny to watch as he kicks more with his left foot and consequently goes round in circles. I thought it was really funny as I had never seen a baby in one of these things before. I never had one for my children and wasn't sure if they are a good idea or not, but as I said he really likes it.
Today, Coralie came over and drove me to my dentist in Spalding. I had to phone up for an emergency appointment this morning as one of my back teeth at the top was really painful. It has been playing up all week and gradually getting worse, but I thought it would go away. Last night I lay awake for hours and it was dreadful and when I woke this morning it was even worse, so I decided I had to go.
It turns out that I have a very nasty abscess on it and I have now got a course of antibiotics. Theo my dentist, said I should have gone in earlier! Never mind, hopefully the antibiotics will kick in soon and get rid of it I have taken a lot of pain killers today!
We went from the dentist back to Peterborough and picked Saskia up from the station, stopped off for a couple of bits in Sainsburys and then came home for lunch. After lunch the 3 of us went swimming with Evan. He was a really happy boy, very smiley. I think he likes his weekly swim.
Tonight, I have been resting up and making some phone calls. Tomorrow is a busy, busy day. We are taking Joshua to University in the morning. He has everything organised and has gone out this evening with his friends. He is going to Bedford University to do a Sports science BA.
As Bedford is about half way to Stevenage, we are going to go on afterwards to see my Dad and to take him to the hospital to visit my Mum. I haven't been up for a few weeks as I have been busy here. I am not expecting it to be an easy visit. We will hopefully be back early evening. I hope so anyway as I want to watch Strictly Come Dancing.
As you know, I generally only watch Eastenders and don't really like to get "hooked" into anything else as it take up time, but I enjoyed seeing some of last years series and I watched the first one of this series last week and have already got hooked! It is only for one hour once a week!

PS: What do you think of my new look page? I spent ages trying to find something that I liked and that didn't wreck my pages. Some themes do! I am still not totally happy but I am still considering going Premium, so I shan't change anything else until I decide.
